Milky Way to Wellness

Welcome to Week 4! This week, we’re diving into the world of dairy and it's alternatives—both rich in calcium and nutrients to support strong bones and a balanced diet

Tell us, which Dairy product are you? Just for fun—get cheesy with your answer!

Let's go over the main qualities to look for in dairy products:

Some milks are fortified with Folic Acid or Vitamin D. These added vitamins can help increase your vitamin intake without the extra work, making it easier to achieve your goals.

The main difference between dairy milks is fat content. Reduce saturated fat consumption for a healthy heart. When shopping, look for dairy items that are lower in fat, such as fat-free milk, low-fat yogurt, or low-fat cottage cheese.

This week, we challenge you to read the nutrition label on your milk. Whether you choose dairy or plant-based options, be sure it's fortified!

How confident do you feel about shopping for dairy?
